Thank you for considering volunteering with the NCT. Our sales are run entirely by volunteers on behalf of the UK's
leading charity for parents to raise much-needed funds for us to re-invest back into our local community through
events, parent support and education. Without our dedicated volunteers, there would be no NCT sales.
As we are hosting a smaller sale this time around without the requirement for many clothes rails, we are looking for a
handful of dedicated volunteers to lend us their time for the full day in return for a generous reduction on commission -
more money in your pocket for Christmas! Roles will mostly be on heavy lifting (tables) during setup and clear down
therefore we are asking on this occasion for volunteers who are able to take on these physically demanding types of
roles.
During the sale, checking for quality is a key job for all volunteers as well as keeping our sale looking tidy and to allow
for easy browsing for buyers. After the sale, we move unsold items into sellers boxes for collection and breakdown all
tables and signage.
We are providing only snacks for this sale so feel free to bring a sandwich and a flask of drinks as we will not have
access to any kitchens.
