Come along and join us at our Bumps & Babies group for a chat, a cuppa and a play. We
have a baby area and biscuits! Our Baby Café is also available - it's a free, friendly and
informal drop-in which provides trusted and personalised support, alongside
evidence based information, on a range of feeding topics to help parents feed their babies in
the way they want. Our trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporters will be on hand for you to
offer antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding support. They are trained to support with
positioning, attachment and hand expressing.
Our café will also have the support of a qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor. They have
undertaken an extensive two-year university accredited training course in counselling,
listening skills and research based infant feeding knowledge. Parents attending an
NCT Baby Café will be offered the opportunity to be listened to without judgement and
supported to make their own decisions.
