Our Nearly New Sales couldn't run without our fabulous, friendly team of helpers. We'd love to have you join us
for some, or all of the sale day or on our organising team. In return you'll get priority seller booking, reduced
seller commission (details below) and early access shopping to the sale.
There is lots to get involve with ahead of the sale, from distributing leaflets to liaising with sellers, depending how
much time you have to give. All our organising team members benefit from the maximum reduction in seller
commission. We'll be getting together for a social on 30th November to kick things off and encourage anyone
who is interested in getting involved to come along to find out more and meet the team.
For the sale day itself (21st April), we have three shifts running: 'Set up', 'Set up and Sale', and 'Sale and Clear
up'. If you can join us for the whole day please register for 'Set up', as well as 'Sale and Clear up' for maximum
seller commission discount.
A range of roles will be available during each session and we will try to accommodate any preferences where
possible. To help us allocate you a suitable role, please add any preferences, or information we ought to be
aware to your registration.
Children: Babes in arms are welcome, but it can be difficult to volunteer and look after a young mobile child. It is
advisable given previous experiences, that children are not brought to the sale if you are volunteering. If you
need to bring a child to the sale, please contact us so we can see what we are able to arrange. Parents are
responsible for and must supervise any under 16s at all times.

If you are also selling at our sale, volunteering will entitle you to the following reduced commission rates
on items sold:
Standard seller commission rate: 30%
Sellers volunteering for one session: 25%
Sellers volunteering for two sessions: 20%
Organising team members and sellers volunteering for the full day: 10%
