In order to minimise the risk of spreading or contracting Covid-19 please note we will not be stopping at the
cafe, toilets or playground on our walk. Please maintain social distancing whilst on the walk.
Parents are responsible for their own and their children’s safety. All babies and children should be in baby
carriers or buggies. Please bring your own hand sanitiser and do not share or touch other people’s
belongings or children, share food or toys etc.
The event will be cancelled in extreme weather conditions but please dress for the weather expected. The
paths will be using are mainly tarmac and buggy friendly but may be uneven in places so wear suitable
footwear.
Please be extra careful near water and in high winds. When we walk under trees there is the possibility of
conkers or acorns falling – we suggest putting buggy hoods up. No dogs are allowed on our walk, but the
park is popular with dog walkers – dogs are not always on leads so please be aware.
Please be careful in the car park as it can get very busy. Please be aware that there are occasional
vehicles on the wider paths.
