Please come and volunteer at the Redbridge and District Nearly New Sale on Saturday 9th November at
Christ Church Hall, Wanstead, E11 2SW.
You can register to help for as many sessions as you like, even if they overlap. A reminder that volunteers
who help at a minimum of two full sessions will have access to our exclusive pre-sale.
There are a range of opportunities available during the sale from being on the tills, serving tea and coffee,
assisting shoppers and manning the entrance. Where we really need lots of help is setting up the sale -
putting all the toys, clothes and equipment out for sale, and then really importantly sorting it all back again
for sellers to collect at the end.
Please do sign up, it's a great way to volunteer in the local community and meet lots of people, plus bag
some bargains and cake. If you have any questions please email Claire at nns.redbridge@nct.org.uk.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate volunteers' children with the exception of babies in carriers / slings
for the duration, this includes older / teen children.
Please let us know when you are registering if you:
- are pregnant
- are bringing a non-mobile baby with you
- have other physical or mobility issues which may affect your ability to undertake some of the tasks
This will help us allocate appropriate roles to your needs.
Following registration, you will receive automated confirmation by email. After that, we will be in touch to
confirm role allocation and details closer to the day. Please do not think that you are not needed if we do
not contact you between those times.
