Thank you for your interest in becoming a Seller at our Nearly New Sale on Saturday 18th March 2017.

It is free to register to be a Seller.

Anything you sell at the sale on the day will be subject to a 25% donation to NCT. If you volunteer to help this will be reduced to 20%.

This Nearly New Sale will be taking place at Pendlebury Evangelical Church, Bolton Road, Swinton, Manchester

This is a ticketed event, which means you do not need to sit behind a stall, you just need to drop your things off at the
start of the sale. By selling at our Nearly New Sale you will also be helping to raise funds for the NCT charity.

Anyone can sell at an NCT sale, you do not need to be a member.

You will receive a seller pack after you have registered for the sale telling you what to do and how the process works we
have summarised this below:

2.Label up your items and choose your prices
3.Drop off your items the morning of the sale
4.We arrange everything like a shop all similar items together I.e. Books, Clothes, large items etc
5.Buyers shop til they drop! We have a Chip and Pin machine which means they can spend more money which means
you sell more!
6.Pick up any unsold items at the end of day or chose to donate them to charity
7.We count up the takings and provide you with your proceeds minus our commission paid directly into your bank
8.Help raise money for our great charity supporting parents.

You will be asked to label items clearly and complete an itemised list of all the items you are bringing to the sale.

You will be automatically assigned the lowest available seller number. If you sold in our September 2015 sale, March
2016 or September 2016 sale you will be allocated the same seller number.

Sale items are to be dropped off 09:30 to 10:00, unsold items collected 15:15 to 15:45 (or you can choose to donate
unsold items to charity)

There is a minimum value of £0.50p on any items to be sold on the day and price increments of 50p.

We will be limiting the number of items that each seller can sell to 150 items with a maximum of 20 clothing items (can be
bundled). Please note, high street or designer items sell well, supermarket brands not so well. This is to
allow as many people as possible to sell at the event

A 25% deduction for the NCT will be taken from any items sold (the seller retains 75%). Our fundraising from this sale will
help us to provide groups and events for families.

After the sale the NCT volunteers will count up the sold items and calculate your proceeds - please opt for proceed
payments to be made by BACS where possible. All information is held securely on this site - bank
information is not viewable by branch volunteers. Payment by cheque costs NCT more in time and stationary. It will also
save you a stamped addressed envelope and a trip to the bank!

BACS payments are expected to arrive in your bank account on Tuesday 28th March Cheques may take longer to
arrive.

Please consider volunteering to help on the day - if you are unable to commit to a full day, perhaps you would consider
either helping us set up before the event (unpacking and displaying the goods)
or after the sale (re-packing the unsold items to be collected at the end). Our sales are only a success and keep running
because of our wonderful helpers. To say thankyou volunteers are entitled to shop before the sale in a limited window,
AND, will recieve a 5% reduction in commission (meaning anything you sell at the sale on the day will be subject to a
20% donation to NCT)**

If you decide you no longer wish to be a seller please can you let us know so we can reallocate your seller number.

The sale will open up at 11.30 for NCT members (on production of valid NCT membership card) and 12.00 for the general
public.

**Sellers must complete a minimum of two hours volunteering on the day to receive the 5% reduction in commission.
