Thank you for your interest in becoming a Seller at our Nearly New Sale on Saturday 10th October 2015 (0am to 0am) to be held at .
The cost of registering to be a Seller is £1.00.
Anything you sell at the sale on the day will be subject to a 25% donation to NCT.
This Nearly New Sale will be taking place on Saturday 10th October at Corpus Christi Catholic Sports College in Preston.
(PR2 8QY).
You will automatically be assigned the lowest available seller number. The new format of the seller numbers will be a 3
digit number eg. 001, 002. For those of you who have sold previously and would like to keep your number please contact
us asap after registering and we will try and reallocate the number part of your current seller number (eg if you were
previously 29SMI we can try and allocate you 029 to make it easier for you to re-sell items already labelled). This may be
relevant if you sell at another NCT sale and wish to use the same number at both. However, this is not always possible,
and we will only be able to do this if the number hasn't already been allocated by the system so early registration is
encouraged if you'd like to keep your number!
Please opt for payment by BACS where possible. This will make the process a lot quicker and mean you will get your
payment faster than receiving a cheque (particularly now as all cheques will be issued by our head office - we can no
longer send them out from our branch). All information is held securely on this site - bank information is not viewable by
branch volunteers. It also saves you the cost of the stamp and a trip to the bank. If you do still need to be paid via
cheque, please bring a stamped addressed envelope along with your items.
You will receive a sellers pack, via email, after registration which will give more details on what to do and how the process
works.
Please consider volunteering on the day and/or on Friday 9th to help with set up. Our sales are only a success and keep
running because of our wonderful team of volunteers. To say thank you, volunteers who stay for 3 hours are entitled to
early bird shopping before the sale opens to the general public. We are in particular need of helpers after the sale to help
with sorting unsold items back into piles - the more volunteers we have, the sooner your items will be available to collect.
We also order pizza and refreshments for our volunteers after the sale finishes - around 2 o'clock, and there will be a free
volunteer's raffle again this year!
