A Single Booking for the Baby First Aid Course costs £24.00.

Colchester and District NCT is offering baby first aid courses in conjunction with The Birth Academy. These courses will give parents and carers the chance to learn first aid skills that could one day save a child’s life!

The 2 hour course concentrates on the key emergency first aid skills of CPR and choking for babies and children, and how to assess a baby or child’s condition after an incident through a top-to-toe check. It also covers additional emergency concerns such as febrile convulsions, allergies and burns. The course is taught in a fun but informative environment and participants get the chance to practise the skills they learn during the 2 hour session.

This course runs from 1pm-3pm and is held in the Highwoods area in Colchester. The venue has easy access from the A12, with free parking (details included on confirmation of your booking).

Courses are open to both NCT members and non-members. Grandparents and carers are also welcome to attend; babies are most welcome at our sessions with a kitchen and changing facilities available.

Bookings are confirmed through the online booking system, with secure card payment. Your place is not confirmed until payment has been made, so please check your inbox (and spam folder if necessary) for the email payment link and then for your booking confirmation after completing the booking form.
